Bryan Todd is an attorney with 40 years of experience whose practice focuses on estate planning, small business organization and operation, and business and real estate transactions, including financing.
Bryan received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in 1980, where he Graduated Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to the honor societies of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Eta Sigma. He received his law degree from Brigham Young University in 1984.
Bryan has a wealth of experience in his practice areas. He began his career as an associate attorney with the law firm Jarvis & Owens in Phoenix, AZ. He then held the position of Eastern Regional Real Estate Counsel and Manager of Real Estate with The Price Company (merged into Costco), then development counsel for Western Development Corporation (became The Mills Corp., a NYSE-traded REIT), both while based in Washington, D.C. He then returned to his home of Salt Lake City as a shareholder at Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough, then was of counsel with Ray, Quinney & Nebeker, followed by shareholder positions with Parsons Behle & Latimer then The McCullough Group.
Bryan’s personal interests and achievements include numerous marathons and ultramarathons, including the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run; and a black belt in taekwondo. He is a life-long skier, loves mountain biking and in recent years has become a lover of pickleball. His favorite hobby, however, is the guitar, which he has played since he was 11 years old. He loves to learn and play everything from classic folk and rock (Santana being his all-time favorite) to flamenco and bossa nova.
Bryan is married to former KSL-TN news anchor, and current Bonneville International executive, Ruth Todd, and they are the proud parents of five children (three of whom are also attorneys), including identical twin girls. Bryan and Ruth are also the proud grandparents of 13 grandchildren.
